Talbott Allen
Talbott is a retired educator and
school principal in both private and public schools.
He has been married to Connie for 34 years and has
three sons Bart, 27, Ben, 24, and John, 21. A member
of Hikes Point Optimists for over 20 years, Talbott
also served two terms as mayor of the City of St.
Regis Park. He is presently a commissioner on
the Metro Louisville Police Accountability
Commission and a member of the Hikes Point Business
Association.

Norb Zurkuhlen
Norb is the clubs go to guy. Norb has been involved full-time
with Hikes Point Optimist for a very long time. He is married to his
wonderful wife Kathy and they have three children Kelly, Emily, Kevin
and he has 2 grand-children twin boys Jonathan & Jackson. With one more
on the way.
Vice-President of Baseball
Tim Brian
Tim is a
pharmacist with Walgreens were he has been for 27
years. He is a graduate of DeSales High School,
University of Louisville and Purdue University
School Of Pharmacy. Tim is also a Member of the
Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Tim is married
to his lovely wife of 20 years Vicky and they have
two sons Bryce and Brandon who attend Trinity High
School.

Tim Gritton
Tim is
the
Vice President of Moore Security. He attended the
University of Louisville. Tim has been a past
President of Hikes Point Optimist Club and
currently is Vice President of Football. He is
married to his wonderful wife Dianne and they have
two great boys Charlie and TJ who was fortunate to
come up through the Hikes Point Optimist Programs.
Tim has enjoyed the thousands of young people who he
has coached and been somewhat part of their life’s.

Bob Person
Dottie and I have been
married for 31 years and have two children:
Stephen and Paula. Both went through the HPO
program. I've been involved with HPO in some
capacity for 16 years and have watched some of
the children that I coach return as
parents. Two ex-players are now coaching in the
HPO programs.
I'm a graduate of
Flaget High School, UEL and have lots of credit
hours at U of L. Courses I needed for business
and some for enjoyment. My occupation for the
last 25 years is a Manufacture Representative.

Vice-President of Tee-Ball Coach Pitch
Craig Petitt
Craig is a real estate broker in the Louisville Metro area. He grew up
in Louisville and graduated from Jeffersontown High School. After high
school graduation, Craig served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the
first Gulf War. Craig is married to his wonderful wife Carol and they
have two children, Jack and Kate.

David Blanford
David is one of the long term members of the
club. He is the father of Five sons David, Joshua, Ben, John and Mathew.
David is the owner of Blandford Insurance Service.
Secretary
Bill Donnelly
Bill is owner of MST Awards a
full service Awards & Recognition company in business for over 17
years. Bill graduated from Flaget High school. He also attended JCC and
Spalding University. Bill is married to his wife Peggy and they have two
sons Jason and Scott. Bill is a former St. Regis Park councilman, served
as President of the Upper Highlands Swim Club, current Member of
Middletown Chamber of Commerce, St. Matthews Area Business Association,
The Frankfort Ave Business Association and Greater Louisville, Inc. Bill
is also an Army veteran.

Jack Clifford
Jack is a Realtor/Appraiser In the Louisville Area. Jack is a graduate
of St. Xavier High School and he attended the University of Louisville
and Southern Methodist University. He was an educator for 14 years
before starting his career in Real Estate. Jack is married to his
wonderful wife Christina and they have two boys John and David.
Board Of Directors
Scott Evans
Scott worked in the banking industry for 18 years before becoming
a partner in Triple "S" Distributors LLC, which is a company that
distributes snack foods. Scott besides being on the board of directors
is the Commissioner of the American League. Scott is married to his
lovely wife Donna and they have one son, Colin who has grown up playing
sports at Hikes Point Optimist.
Diana Kurzendoerfer
Diana is the Owner Of Signs Inc. in Hikes Point. She has been married to
her sweetheart Marty for 23 years. They have two children Nick and Andy.
Diana is also a member of Hikes Point Area Business Associations, St.
Mathews Business Association, Better Business Bureau and the Kentuckiana
Signwriters Guild. Diana is also a past president of the optimist club
Glen Brown
M. Glenn Brown, fondly known as Coach Brown, has worked with
youth for the past 35 years. He is a graduate of DuPont Manual High
School, and the University of Louisville. Coach Brown received an award
for his “Lifetime of Dedication To Serving The Positive Growth and
Development of Young People”. M. Glenn Brown is the head coach of
the Hikes Point Lobo Juniors Football Team, and also serves as a
Director in the Hikes Point Optimist Club.
Coach Brown’s motto is “Don’t coach the sport… Coach the kids”.
David Meyer
David has been married
to Denise for 16 years. They have two boys, Dave and Joseph, ages 15
and 13 who have participated in the Optimist baseball program over the
last 10 years. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1982, and
has a Bachelor's Degree and MBA from the University of Louisville .
David is currently Director of Product Planning at ADP, Inc where he
has been employed for the last 18 years. David and his family are
members of St. Martha Catholic Parish.
Richard Geiger
I have been an HPO member for 3 years. I am the
coordinator of our Rookie Softball League.
I umpire most of the softball games of any age group
at HPO. I have been umpiring for 8 years.
Have been employed as a Senior Mechanical Designer
at Carman Industries for 17 years.
I have been married to my wife Nancy for 23 years.
We have four children, Angela, a junior at
Bella mine University, David, a freshmen at the
University of Kentucky, Stephen, a freshmen
at Jefferson Community College, and Jessica, a
sophomore at Mercy Academy.

Leo Brown
Leo is the west
coast Regional Sales Manager for Louisville Tin &
Stove Manufactures who make the Cozy brand Gas
Heater. Leo is marries to hi wonderful wife of 24
years Ms. Kaye Elaine (Groves) Brown. They
have four children – Leo IV (age 20), Andrew (age
18), Matthew (age 16), and Bridget (age 11).
spend most of my free time running kids to and from
their social/school events, however that is slowing
down now the kids are getting older. Baseball is my
favorite pastime and activity! I’m a member of the
Louisville 38+ MSBL (Men’s Senior Baseball League).

the golf course
